Default Steering systems

I’d like some opinions and comments regarding a new steering system that I will need to install on a 1976 SeaCraft 20’Sf that I bought last month. Right now, the SeaCraft doesn’t have a motor, helm or controls. I’ll probably power it with a 130 to a 150HP motor I realize the hull is rated at 175 max (?).

Is there any advantage in going to hydraulic systems on this size hull with that amount of power? If so, is the SeaStar system worth the extra $ (vs. the BayStar system)?

There seem to be several Teleflex cable systems (rotary vs. rack, NFB, etc.) Any consensus as to what works best on this size rig?
