Default Transom drain replacement

My transom drain is ready for replacement.
I have plenty of 1" brass tubing, but I'm thinking I'm tired of compression-style rubber plugs.

Kind of leaning toward the gar board-style drain with a flange and a screw-in plug. Any preferred brands? I'd like something with a solid drain pipe and a threaded flange/nut on the inside, rather than some of the other 3 screw stuff I'm seeing on the market. Is this even feasible? Bronze or stainless? Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Default

I just got one with a check valve built into it so if you forget to screw the plug in it dose not fill the boat with water. It is brass and seems well built. I have not installed it yet but will soon.
