Rhino-lining...pros/cons?
When I get the old girl all put back together I'll need to redo the interior. Anybody have any thoughts on using rhino-lining for this purpose? I've seen a couple of boats that have used it and they look great. Any idea on the cost? Can I apply it myself or does a guy need special equipment to apply? I wonder if I could stick some grit in the mix and get a non-skid deck while I'm at it? Lots of questions. Any help will be appreciated.

Eso,
I was thinking of doing that with my flats boat. When I am catching bait, the weights from my castnet make an awful sound on the deck. I am thinking the liner would quiet things down a bit however I have no experience with it.

What do you mean "QUARANTEENED"? Still curing? How long do they recommend letting it sit?

Its sitting there because of My Work Ethics!!!HaHA!
9-8 6 days a week then fishing tourny's !!Thats what happens in the High time.She's just sitting there waiting for Me to Fond--.The cure time is 1-2 days pretty quick.This started last Labor Day(Project) now that all my working weather & slack time are gone !!Too Hot !! I did My gunnels w/ Rhino.(below)I left it to the experts.They can match colors $$$$ Did Mine in white,wiped down w/acetone then painted w/awlgrip .Came out really nice.Easy to clean I guess .She's still QUARANTEENED!I did it for ease of cleaning,noise,abrasion(rods). You'll have to foam in where the deck touches the gunnel at a taper (runoff).I did not do the deck.Too slippery even though they can add non-skid,If I don't like the gunnels I can always recover it.The deck on the other hand !Whew You'd have to replace it as this stuff does not come off!!You can save $ if You pre-pare the area before hand Sand,foam etc. Scream'n Reels' [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img] http://www.frenzie.com/1983_seacraft_master_angler.htm
