Just a follow up on my post about the boat diving to port. Could there be water trapped in the foam under the deck? How can I determine whether this could be an issue. Anyone have a diagram of the boat without the deck?

I doubt it, would seem to me that if there was that much water trapped under there it would list most at rest, and gradually get better as you accelerated and the infamous "steps" did their thing.I don't know for sure, but the off center engine would get my vote - I can't say if a 1/2" offcenter would make that big a difference, but I would start there.
I'm sure Jason won't mind me pluggin another board for this reason, so I would recommend the wmi.org board. Some of those guys are sharp and may be able to answer this particular question. Bill |

Have you checked your trim tab wiring for shorts? Just a thought, maybe your tabs are operating on their own.
