Default Proposed Seacraft History Time Line

Fellow Seacraft Owners-

I would like to propose building a time-line and history of the brand. I have an 18 built in 1989 - A Tracker Hull. The topics of different sizes, models, power offerings, strong points, weak points, common upgrades, the original sales brochure for specs, comments on quality or reputation, personal experiences with the paticular boat, resale values for excellent thru poor condition, original prices, Costs of improvements. With the ok from Trayder,I would be up for collecting and putting together info. to put on this great web site.

Great Idea....would be a tremendous resource for those thinking of getting involved in boats like these...When you think about how many other boat manufactures have boats being restored and gaining a second life twenty to thirty years after they were first built...

Big one I can think of is Bertram...not to shabby

Personally I would love to get my hands on an original brochure of my boat

Snookerd-

I would LOVE it!!! I have been trying to figure the time line history for SeaCraft out for quite a while. So far, I have Carl Mosely from the early sixties to 68 then Bill Potter to 79 then The CSY corp??? then Tracker/Johnie Morris but I am never sure and hear different renditions.

Thanks to Captmin and Seafari I have a bunch of info I have yet to put on the site, including a 1968 Warranty card, pretty cool, and some other nick nacks but any thing you get I would be happy to load in the reference section.

Thanks for the offer snookerd

I just posted a question on purchasing the 89 18' tracker hull.

Do you have the spec sheet. How has she been holding up. What is your power. I am looking at repowering with 150-200 4 stroke if not too much weight.
