Hey Fellowship
How ya doing you spoke to me about my transom last month and I still don't know what I want to do. Like all seacraft transoms, it's wet and shows some signs of dark wood but it is solid and there is no play or weakness whatsoever. Also, not the whole thing is wet - just spots. And there is no pattern to the spots - they're spread out over the entire transom. A friend who works on his own boat and is very experianced with glass repairs (he has a 65 foot head boat in MOntauk NY - if you're ever up here and you want a good day fishing write to me) said he thought it might be possible to dry it out some more then put another layer of glass over the whole transom to both strengthen it and waterproof it. What do you think? Cosmetics would not be a problem - he's real good at it. By the way, the OTTERLY COOL is a 1974 23 cc with an I/O. Thanks in advance for your answer.
