Default Anti-Foul Paint for Motor

I was not planning on leaving the boat in the water, but have since changed my mind and have been leaving it sit in a slip for the summer. The bottom of the hull is properly painted, but unfortunately the lower unit of my outboards does not fully clear the water when tilted. Result: various marine growth is starting to form on the section that is in the water the most. Can someone offer suggestions as to a product (best) to paint the lower unit of motors to prevent this? I boat in the northeast. Thanks.

There is a clear antifouling paint in a spray can that works well put 4-5 coats on them.
