Ed and I hooked up for a little flats fishing in the late fall. We decided to hire a guide and met in Ruskin, FL as Ed was on a business
![]() ![]() We pulled about a dozen snook out of the first hole and had steady action most of the day.(1/2 day) We also caught a redfish, some trout and a few Jack Crevel. ![]() I hooked the biggest on of my life estimating it at 3 feet long and maybe #20 plus. He spooled me taking off over 200 yards of braid. Ed and I hooked and landed at least 1/2 dozen more and had a blast. ![]() ![]() The guide can be located at www.slingnbait.com. My parents are in town and we are fishing with Todd tomorrow. The weather should be in the high 70's.

Nice job. The Little Manatee River looks to be a very productive area. It's always a good idea to fish near shore when the weather down here gets in the 70's......burrrrr!
