Default Hull identification

My hull identification number is SECA30010875. I understand, I think, all of the identification numbers except the A. Can anyone help.

Here is an old response on a related questIon from Capt Chuck

He might know. i am kind of surprised that you don't have an F instead of an A.

Don

Your Hull ID: SECF30070778

SEC = SeaCraft
F3 = Superfish 23'
007 = Hull number
07 = July
78 = 1978

FMc,
1972 was when the USCG instituted standardized HINs on all boats. Your boat was probably built right before this happened or the transom was replaced and the HIN was not.
