Default Looking for a good 23 foot center console

Before I ask some questions I would just like to say hello this is my first post. I am looking forward to learning about the seacraft boats which I have loved for a long time. I am looking to buy one and almost closed on an 85 23 foot center console but the engine was an issue and the sale never went through. But I am still looking and trying to find the right one. I have a few questions I need to ask. Are 1986 models built by seacraft or tracker? How do I know the transom is still in good shape? And what are some good ways to price a boat that is in fairly good shape for being twenty years old?
