Guys- The standard of measurement for any SeaCraft project has been overlooked for too long. This site has changed greatly in over 4 years, but lets not ignore "in the beginning" what made our efforts better - BEER!
![]() From here on, all projects need a measure of the #'s of beers or cases of beers to complete the project.

Ha Snookerd
The beer index formula has always been kind of a subjective indicator. It has several variables that must be taken into consideration like the amount of time to do a particular project, the level of difficulty in set project, the time of year summer or winter of project, if you have friends helping you and their level of enjoyment of beer preferences that are available, frustration factor, and so forth. I know for me sanding fiberglass and working on the bottom of the boat carry a 3 X multiplier. But any which way you got the picture. Think of it as : time allotted to project X difficulty X time or year X experience = “THE BEER FACTOR” Hope that helps.
