History of Owners

I own a 23' 1975 CC SeaCraft and wanted to know if anyone knows how I can find out who has owned the boat prior.

There is probably now way to track them down, unless you have the records from previous owners. I bought mine from a crap hole marina in Michigan on lake Erie, how it ended up there I have no idea. Someone bought a different boat at this marina and traded in the SeaCraft, what a sucker... Too bad there isn't a website like "ancestry.com" for boat's. I guess the only way is to look thru old registry records for the VIN. Too bad my 72 never had one in the beginning..

I dont know much about it but perhaps a title seach would reveal some info? I got lucky, bought my 73 from the orignal owner after it sat under a tarp with no engine on it for 12 years!
