Default Whitewater Photo

Going through some pictures from the summer, I found one that I forgot I took. Reminds me of a better time.
Summer can't get here soon enough. Atleast it is boat show season.

The boat is a Whitewater 25. The only cuddy cabin model I have seen. If anyone else has pics of one I would love to see them.

Nice Boat Bryan. There are many a times when I wish I had that cuddy to get out of the weather. Those guys had it right about the 4 boat theory.

I do like the cuddy. It just needs a little reconfig. I also like the CC for "fishability", that's why I kept my 20SF when I got the Whitewater. I subscribe to the 4 boat theory.

Found some more pics of the summer.

And one old one. In this one you can actually see the 20 SF peaking out.

That next to the last photo of just one rod in the holders reminds me of my outing in a Whitewater......a few rods got pitched on that ride and I nearly got left behind myself Great boats

Bryan,
What's up with the black section on the bow?

For a while this boat served as a patrol boat around the Sub Base area in New London. From what I can gather I think they painted that section black because the bow is soo long. It probably interfeared with looking through binoculars and such. There was also something mounted on the bow, 50 cal or probably just an elevated bow rail. Those holes are there and filled poorly, not by me. I added the hatch but the deck has a few soft spots and needs attention. If you look closely you can tell I also removed the bow rail which was bent. Eventually I will get to all that stuff, One step at a time. Right now the cabin is getting the attention.

Bryan, that's a good-looking boat. The bow from rub rail down reminds me of a 24 Albemarle. What's the dead rise?

Bryan-

I bet they had a high power spotlight (or police lights) mounted on the bow and they probably painted the area around them black to reduce glare and night blindness.

Nice looking boat.

Ed - Youre right about the glare thing, but I think they had lights on an arch or something. There is evidence of and old arch on the gunwales. The holes on the front deck were from a rail similiar to what you see on the savage. There was nonskid tape where the hatch is now. I wish I knew all the history on this boat. At one time it used to have twin 225's.
