Default someone to raise the transom of 23 tsunami

I am looking for someone to raise the transom of my 23 1975 Tsunami 6 inches and cut out the splash well and install skuppers, in Maine NH or Mass. I live in up state Vermont. I can tow the boat anywhere, but would prefer these states for obvious reasons. When the repair is completed I will purchase a 200 to 250 Etec to make it go. I have never posted on a forum before so this is new to me? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. I will check this Post for the next few days. My email address is hschultz@schultzlures.com in case I screwed up

Hi Hugh-

I see you are from the northeast kingdom....that place is God's country. Welcome aboard.

In the Northern Mass/Southern NH area, I would highly recommend Wilco Marine in Newbury, MA (978-465-1282). I will be upfront and tell you that the guy who owns it, Jodi Wilkinson, is a good friend of mine. With that said, he is an excellent craftsman and has been in business since 1982.

If you want to travel further south, Metan Marine in Norwell, MA and Custom Fiberglass in Hingham, MA are other good choices.

Good luck.
