Default Spanish FlyCraft

I was watching a TIVO'd Spanish Fly episode yesterday and it was one of those episodes that gets made by using clips from the archives and using voice-over narrative.

Well in a couple of the scenes I noticed that Jose used to own a SeaCraft. Looked like a 23 SF that he had done a cowling to cover the outboards and came down to the schroud in front of the bait well.

Currently Jose sports a Sea Vee, but it was interesting to see that he at one time had a SeaCraft. Did anyone else know this, and by chance does anyone know the whereabouts of the old Spanish Fly?

As an aside, I find The Spanish Fly to be consistently the best of the SaltWater shows. Highest "production value" as they say in the biz, and Jose Wajebe is both entertaining and instructional.

neverending-
Yea we have discussed in the past. If you do a search you will find it, It was a 32SC. The boat has sold at least twice since he switched to the Sea Vee. It didn't seem that Jose had too many good words for his 32SC. His show is top shelf. Gotta love the Coral Sea trip he took!

Neverending,
If my memory is correct, prior to the 32' SC, he had a 27'conch that had a cover over the outboards. That may have been the boat you saw.

it was a 32', was for sale in the last year located in SW Florida. he was sponsored by BPS and like most captains got the boat for free as long as he did promo with it. the first year he had the 32' it and he were on display at the miami boat show. two years later he was sponsored by hells bay when they built the 23 and 27 openfish. again at the miami boat show. he used the 27 HB for less than a year,HB stopped production and sold/ lost the company. i'm sure SeaVee is giving him the same deal. he gets the boat then has a deal with mercury where he gets the verados for free too. ahhhh, what a life.

It was for on ebay several times. I believe that it was a 32' SeaCraft and was going for around $100k.

Finest Kind,

If it was a Bass Pro Boat it may haved been the Delph's out of Key West. I know that they used to fish the bluefins up north somewhere. www.delphfishing.com
