Default Florida Sea Craft Owners...Help

If this shows up twice sorry, the first post went ???

If this is a tacky post sorry. Delete it. However I have found out networking is a good way to find something.

Looking for a 23 Sceptre. Project boat, but will consider all Sceptres.
Must be in Florida.

The reason for asking is I check all the regular spots, however in the past I have found good project boats that are in the back yard/lot just waiting for someone to ask if they are for sale.

Any postings can be here, and all buyers will get a chance at the boat.

Thanks.

Rather than start my own thread I thought I'd add to this one, hope you don't mind since we are looking for similiar help but not exact, so maybe we can both benefit.

First time poster, great site! I have just been introduced to the old Seacrafts and want one badly (and soon). Looking for a 23 like the Solitude. I've written Peter but have not had a chance to talk to him on the phone. I love everything about this boat and would most definitely make an offer, but I'm in Florida so don't know that it's practical.

Does anyone know of anything similar in Florida? I'm looking for the older Potter Hull, I/O, 23 Scepter/Tsunami, under $15,000. Not really looking for a project boat, but also not looking for a completely re-done boat that is overly expensive. I have 3 kids under 12 years of age and we'll be using it mostly to run around in, tubing, wakeboarding and eventually fishing inshore/offshore. It will be kept in the water in a slip.

I've searched all the online places and have only come up with this, Project Boat. It's just down the road from me and I went to see it. It is in VERY rough shape for the $8900 he is asking... at least it seems that way to me. He's a very nice fellow though

Anyway, thanks again for a great site!

No I didn't. The only one I saw listed for over there was a center console.

I saw this boat yesterday. If any one is interested I will be happy to give you the details. I have no interest in the boat.

Island Trader,
I think I talked to you about my old 23. The new owner wants a lot of money for it but it has a 3 yr old 4 stroke Yamaha on it and bottom paint. Might be a good boat for Bryan D if you could talk the owner down to a realistic figure. It was in perfect restored condition when I sold it to him several years ago.
Here's the link to the pic.
