Holy Cow! that looks terrific.
If someone told me that a pilot house would look good on a Sceptre,I would have thought they were crazy, but Instead it looks great. Now I wish I had that on my Tsunami, with both sides like the port side.It would be nice when trolling in spring days with water temps in the 30's. Congratulations on a beautiful job.

sorry for the dumnb ? but why is one side shorter than the other and it really looks top notch...i was thinking of removing my windshield dure to being altitudenally challenged such as i am... and that is a excellant replacement and might be cheaper than full strataglass

Rusty, my best guess is that the starboard side was cut too short. So Mike kept cutting it and it was still too short?
![]() Or maybe it is related to being a pot pulling work boat? ![]() Anyhow, nice job! For a non-work boat, i would vote to split the difference. - Nick |

This boat is set up like this because i am going to hauling lobster gear with it. I also cut the gunnel down on the starboard side which you probably noticed. In another couple of months my dad is doing the same house with both sides the same on his 83 sceptre. I will post pics when i get them. The house will be built from the same mold. Thanks for the feedback.

Sweet looking bug boat!
Reminds me of a Slamrock Mackinaw without the slam or the rock. |
