there was obviously some modification done to this boat before I bought it. Can anyone tell me the original height of the stringers?

are you going to rebuild the fordeck back to its original? Looks like someone cut out the fish box from up there??

kind of. I have a plan, but not sure if it will work. I want to put a fishbox in the middle, a small icechest on one side and small baitwell on other, with an aerator. Might take care of the "bucket", don't know if I'll be able to pull it off though. But yeah, the fish box was cut off.

my brother asked me why I was pulling out all the foam. I said because there is water in here, where he replied, right here on top I said. Finally I had to say because the other guys did it. Don't know if I had too or not it seemed pretty dry down through it, but what the hell

and one for the road

adios for now

Good work getting rid of that old foam. Here's the bottom of my boat. Anyone notice a correlation between where most of the blisters are located (ground out now) and the location of the foam filled box stringer.

As to weather or not to put the foam back in - thats very debatable in my book.

TO FOAM OR NOT TO FOAM? What is the general consensus? It seems, according to most pics that the foam is left out. For those of you completed with your projects and back in the water has it changed the ride or noise?
As one of the F.N.G.'s on this board, I was just wondering.

My wife is getting really tired of this web-site. When asked why I am spending so much time here I just tell her
" I MIS-REMEBERED"

center stringer waterlogged. Kept having water show up at transom and couldn't find out from where. Cleaned most or all of foam out, ground and brushed stringers...nothing. Drilled a few pilot holes in center stringer and water was weeping out around drill bit.
Do I need to plan on replacing it or will it dry out?

another pic

Oh, what would we do without projects?
need some help here.
thanks
