Got a nice fat BFT on sat on josh wellfleets classic 23 off the race. This one hit a Northbar Bottle Darter plug on the spinning rod. Tough lifting these fish with that tackle! After a good harpoon shot by Josh we got the new (old) boat nice and bloody though! What a day!

Next time we will take better pics 'posing' entire fish and a proper measurement pre deheading. As well I should have snapped a photo of Steve's hour long battle, red sweaty face, and Bud-y-zer with sippy straw

I know these SeaCrafts are built tough, but not quite to icebreaker standards
![]() Besides, we had to dress in our ski gear this past sat and it was mild for november. No heaters on these CCs ![]() Steve

![]() Seriously, I lived for a while in OC, MD, and I remember fishing for mako and white marlin in March, and watching the ice build up on the outriggers and tuna-tower on our Rybovich. I was freezing and wearing at least 5 layers of clothing. As I was on the 28* flybridge running the boat, I couldn't retreat to the 65* warm salon where the clients were warming themselves further with brandy. We boated and tagged one white marlin in 6 hours, and released two very small thresher sharks. It was a long cold day.
