Ok,it's not a Seacraft,but I thought this video of a 233 Formula was insane.
I think I'll try it this summer with my Tsunami.----"NOT" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MA-k2eatbTI

This happens to me a couple of times a season in Barnegat Inlet with my 23' inboard.
Of course it isn't on purpose. Every other boat I've owned you knew when you landed - not in a Seacraft!!!! Cotton Soft. |

Would be a piece of cake for a 23! I ran my Seafari like that for about 30 miles on my first trip back from the Bahamas in 3-4' seas . . . completely airborne on about every 10th wave! Of course I was 34 years younger and dumber back then!

For a couple of years, while managing marinas, I ran a few races as a throttle-man for Gulfwind Marine. None of the major events, but smaller, local 50-100 mile regattas. Back then Gulfwind was partly owned by Steve Stepp, and I throttled on a 30' Velocity with twin 'Rude V8 outboards and a 33' Sutphen with Arneson drives.
I've seen the videos of those 500 mile races. They WERE crazy.
