Default Boat Cover for 23' T Top

Good morning all,

Does anyone out there know of a good place to pick up a cover for a 1978 23' SF SeaCraft (with a top top and with twin engines)?

It is not 100% essential that i cover the engines.

I am planning on fishing until mid to late December (for Blackfish) and then leave her on a trailer for the winter in a boatyard.

Thanks,

Peter

Peter,
While not a high-end custom cover, I picked up a cover for my Seabird from www.boatcoversdirect.com for $300 and am very pleased with it so far. It's been on the boat since June and has held up well for my needs. I won't be using it for winter storage, just for keeping leaves and crap out while it sits in the driveway during the fishing season.

Contact Darren LaPorte in Charleston SC. He builds custom covers to fit center consoles w/ t-tops. I've seen quite a few and they are made right. I think his website is ttopcovers.com and you can get his number there.

Scott- who do you know in our area ? I'm seriously considering having one made for winter storage instead of shrink wrapping . I contacted Fisher boat covers and got a price from them but they are not local. They would come measure and I did hear good things about them but would love to have someone local to depend on.

Fischer is top notch stuff .... just look around our yard ... any yard for that matter ... I would totally trust them.

There is another canvas guy, Mike, in Point Beach ... They actually do the canvas work in the yard (The enclosures on all the carts that the guys in the yard use were done by him)

Of course there are many more in the area ... Mike and his father did all the canvas work on the boats I used to work on ... and he fished with us on occasion .... I'll lookup the number for you.

I do not know a local company, but I ordered my custom made cover online from a company called mightycovers.com. It has been great. Quality is good, price was good - very pleased with the product. I am sure that they will have what you are looking for (they do stock and custom). Boat Covers
