Default \"Those pesky pig weights\"

My 18 came with 1 battery in the starboard aft compartment. I recently added 1 and installed them under the console to balance and shift weight forward. My question is, did they put any weights on the port side to offset the battery when originally built? My boat lists to port about 5 degrees and I can't find anything else that would contribute to this condition. I deal with it by shifting the beer cooler to counter the effect. As the day goes on, I slide the cooler further starboard. Your thoughts are appreciated.
