Default Rusted boat lift cable

still getting my new 20sf set up at my new house and have it on the davits now

I swung it out over the water and set four post in the ground to build a set of bunks to set on rather then blocks but as I was working with the boat over he ground the rusted cable on the bow broke The bow about 2 1/2' to 3' above the front fell and hit a concrete retaing wall block.

here was the damage to the bow. Not what I expected to see when I looked

well here is the finnished bunk but now I got some gelcoat work do to and touch up the bottom paint I knew I should have changed the cable first. Now I've got SS cable.
