I may be off on this, but believe there was at least one Stewart & Stevenson "Diesel Jet" powered 23' back in the 70's? Also, more recently there was a 23' SeaCraft clone called the Quonset Point 25, that was powered by a Yanmar coupled to a Hamilton (or some other manufacturers) jet drive.

Looks like the same boat they had on display at the Providence Boat Show several years ago when they unveiled it. I believe it was the only one built. Pretty cool concept although the fit and finish left much to be desired.
