I may be off on this, but believe there was at least one Stewart & Stevenson "Diesel Jet" powered 23' back in the 70's? Also, more recently there was a 23' SeaCraft clone called the Quonset Point 25, that was powered by a Yanmar coupled to a Hamilton (or some other manufacturers) jet drive.

I am in love. I would just tell everyone it was a Seacraft though. The listing says that the boat burns 3gph @ 23.4mph. That is 7.8 mpg! Of course this is ridiculous and I do not believe it at all, but even if it gets anything close to that it is amazing. 16" draft. What more could you ask for?

Looks like the same boat they had on display at the Providence Boat Show several years ago when they unveiled it. I believe it was the only one built. Pretty cool concept although the fit and finish left much to be desired.

Appears to have been made by Triangle Marine Engineering, Ltd. Which doesn't seem to be in business anymore.
