bottom TLC 18sf

I was thinking the other day about what my bottom might need... It is the original gel coat
And there is nothing wrong with it just looks a little bit chalky. Should I take it to someone and have it wet sanded and waxed? Should I not worry about it at all? Because the boat comes out of water every time I use it. How important is this to have done?
