Default Helm modification?

Anyone reworked the helm on a Sceptre/Tsunami to fit one of the big fish finder/chart/gps screens in it?

Basically go from where these upper gauges are:


to something more like this:




I'm just dreaming over here and when I get etecs the icon gauges would take me from 8 gauges to 2, so I would have a bunch of room for a fish finder/chart/gps.
