Default What! no SeaCrafts???

I watch a fair amount of WFN(world fishing network) on Dish network, and see that There is a show coming up called "Project Dreamboat" by Florida sportsman.
They advertise it as A show where they do rigging, rebuilding and even some total restorations to project boats.
Any of you southern guys know anything about the people involved with this show,or is it a show just being hyped by the magazine?.
I found a couple links of which one shows the lineup with a few shows with Hydra sports and Seahunts but not much else. Here's the link

Yeah it starts today at 4pm on fox sports sun 653 on direct. Not sure if it is about customizing from Hydra Sports to Contender or contender for something (no info available).
If its like one of those car restoration shows, where they "steal" somebody's muscle car that he always wanted to restore, (with the help of his wife) and then return it in a week or so, totally restored with a new motor, maybe my wife could call them.

It's channel 394 on Dish network.

Yeah if it was like that car show (Over haulin) with Chip Foose where they steal a car and give it back all done,I'd have my kids write some sob story about the 20 Seafari that's sitting in my back yard, and tell them that I can no longer do any restoration due to a couple back fusions and disc replacements. But how that boat has been the joy of my life and how all I ever wished for was to be able to finish it.
Maybe I'd get lucky and get a completely new Seafari.I can picture the tear filled segment as they unveil the finished craft.
Actually all the above is true, with the exception of that boat being the joy of my life.I do have it but as for it being the joy of my life, that was pure BS.

Neat show. I enjoyed watching it but man how much can you cram in a 30 minute show with 15 minutes of commercials. I was expecting progress on one boat during the show. To show 3 different vessels just touching on each didn't allow much detail. I would like to see something more detailed on the methods. Got to say they did show a little bit on insurance boat deal rebuilding the gunnel tho. I did have a project hydra sports about like the one on the first show but mine was a year older Kevlar hull. I ended up letting it go for $500 due to no time to work on it. Nice to see something different on TV. Not a bad show, would be better as an hour time block. It's got a slot on my dvr for now. Hope to see more and also some seacraft action.

I actually liked the show that came on after that , for my area anyway. The Florida Sportsman insider fishing report. I had not watched it in years.

No doubt Frizz!!! Thank God I have set top boxes with DVRs, I would not watch too much TV if it was not for recording it and FF through the commercials! The show I can't take anymore is the "Ship Shape TV Infomercial" show, it has gone straight to hell!!! Basically I'll do a show with your products if you give me tons of free stuff!! Boat lift? No problem, build me one for free and we'll do a 15 minute segment on it....pathetic!

Ditto the above.Just when you hope they will have a show with some substance on boat restorations it looks like it will be heading in the opposite direction of what most of us were hoping for.
Are you telling us that "Ship Shape" is still on? God what a terrible show. Greviskus seems like a nice guy but the show was nothing other than an infomercial for West Marine,Interlux, West System and a handful of other manufacturers.
I always got a charge watching them make a simple non structural repair with some high priced epoxy product when any regular good polyester based product would do the job perfectly.
