Default Distance from transom to rear of console (master angler)

I have a 76 master angler and forgot to measure the distance from the transom to the back of the console before I stripped it down. I want to know what it was originally and what y'all normally move it to when putting a bracket on the back. I was thinking of putting it about 6'7" from the transom but I wanted to know what the general consensus is doing.

Default Console location

I have a 21 with bracket and suzuki140 four stroke
Move console all the way to front hatch and batteries in front of console best way to go also cut out splash well ,flip it around and glass back in for additional footing

The fuel tank hatch is five feet long and the console overlaps by about a foot. I think there is a thread on this from last year, but figure transom plus splash well plus border (4"?) plus 5 feet minus the overlap. If you move it too far forward then the foredeck gets very cramped, as the casting deck intrudes.

I found this on here a while ago. I cannot comment on it's accuracy but it seems reasonable. I've been using it to lay out my deck.
