Default 23 WA repower

Well I bought my 23WA winter of 2015 intending to splash spring 2016. Being a catamaran sailor I was new to powerboats. What started as a tune quickly went to repowering with MP 5.7 Vortec and having to rebuild steering hydraulics, replace lift and trim hydraulic pump and some hoses. I pressure tested fuel tank and removing 100 gallons of crap. New instruments, bilge pumps and blower made for a mechanically sound powerplant. I then rebuilt the VP outdrive as well as removing all previous paint and resurfaced some of the mating surfaces that were pitted. Pleasantly surprised after breaking it in last year that the boat was capable of 42Kts. Wish I bought a Floscan then as they just closed their doors. I recored the engine cover and deck hatches and just gave a down a dirty layer of CSM to the deck. It had been under cover for a year so I wanted to keep the core dry with all the stress cracks until I do the entire deck. Slowly I will attack all the hull, liner and doghouse cracks. New T Top cover should be done next week as well as spring prep. Boat lift going in next week if all goes well..
