Default What year is my boat?

Just joined today and the first question I have is what year was my boat manufactured? There is no Hull Stamping, but there is a foil plate mounted on the engine cover base.

It shows the boat as a 20' FIO with a serial number of 1294.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also needing to replace the wood hatches up front and along each side of the inboard. These could easily be made from marine plywood but could be made from a polymer? Any suggestions on this would also be appreciated.

If there is no ID in the starboard transom (after 1973 that came about)
Safe bet 1969-1971 just by the configuration and engine...

Mine is serial number 971 and it is a 1969. and also a Mercruiser stern drive boat. Mine is a 4 stringer Moesly built. I’m in Ga too by the way. I noticed the sticker on yours, “Atlanta Athletic Club” which is down on Lake Lanier, which is where I found my boat. I’m on restoration process now.

I would also say a 69 or 70. I saw where you had originally posted it on Craigslist. Have you decided to keep it. If you want a great boat I would if I were u.

My dads 20 center console was always registered as a 69 model and this was his serial number. Unfortunately he died and I haven’t been able to get it from my step mom.

Thanks for the replies! This helps alot. So many inboards and outboards in this building I need to get rid of. Once I get a handle on things, would like to get this running and see how she does.

There's a little 12' Crusader with a 50 merc on it, this one was built in Anaheim, Ca. No auto's. lots of motors from the 80's and 90's if I had to guess.
