Well a few sheets of 320 and a garden hose and the old name and reg. numbers are off. I finally got the new reg. numbers after almost a month wait but, the new vinyl name, port, and reg. numbers came in today as well. Hopefully get a couple of coats of paint on tomorrow and by Thursday it will be ready to hit the water again.

Welp, the paint color that I thought matched the hull does not. So I am back to square one. Need to sand off the spot that I put new paint on. Looks like I might be able to get away with polishing where the old reg. number were instead of painting. I also contacted the old owner to see if he new the brand/color of the paint, waiting for him to call me back with the info. He did say that he found some more stuff in the garage that goes to the boat, so maybe its a good thing.

Been a bit so here is an update.
Got a tow rig, 1995 Chevy 2500 Burb. It also matches the boat:  First time out fishing. Caught 8 or 9 undersize black sea bass, 4 undersize trout, and 4 croakers:  Gone out the past two weeks hoping to hit the stripper, but the water is still too warm at 67 degrees:

It is far easier to get around to the bow without having your feet getting caught on it. Otherwise you have to disconnect the curtains to use the middle window. I have the rest of the rails in the garage.

Went out looking for some big rock on Sunday. Reports were that people were pulling up to 50lbs one on 4th island of the CBBT out to the highrise.
Ended up catch 2 good size sand sharks. Then lost the starter and/or solenoid on the port engine. Had to limp her home on the starboard, made about 10-12 mph on between 2500-3000 rpms. Pretty much ruined the day, but hey that is why I wanted two engines, could have been far worse.

Well I finally got some time off from work and the weather to get get outside and try and verify what parts I need to order to get the old girl running again. Turns out it might have just been a low charge on the battery.
Old owner had installed these chargers way back when. I had noticed that the "charged" light never worked on the port battery but never really thought too much of it because she always started up the first time and sounded so strong.  So port is on my charger in the garage and I took a look at which bolts I'll need to pull if this goes further
