Default 1977 SeaCraft Seafari

I recently purchased a 1977 20 seafari cuddy and was wondering what is the best compound / cleaner I could use to remove the chalking. The hull is a yellow gel coat. Also does anyone have an idea what this boat may be worth? She is chalky and weathered however the hull is in good shape with no major stress cracks, she is also running an Evinrude 110 hp i belive a 1987 or 88. Any help is greatly appreciated.
