Default 1970 Seafari for sale

Hi everyone,

Due to an unforeseen circumstance, mainly a mental breakdown and the purchase of a new boat at the Miami Boat Show, I find myself owning 2 boats! Since I can really just use one, I'm placing my Seafari for sale. Here's what she has:

1970 Potter Hull with 140 hp Mercruiser I/O w/Alpha One drive

Boat was rebuilt by the previous owner in 1999 with a complete replacement of all transom wood and stringers. She was also completely rewired and repainted (5 coats) in Awlgrip "Cloud White"

Deck is solid with only one one small crack on the sole ahead of the engine access hatch due to my weight (250+)and not enough support underneath. Easy fix but haven't had the time to get to it. Coaming side wood panels need replacement or elimination by fiberglassing.

Engine was also completely rebuilt in 1999 and just received a complete tune-up including new points, condenser, rotor, cap, wires, plugs, coil and a new fuel pump to boot. 0 hours on the tune up and is absolutely smooth on all rpm settings.

Alpha One drive was installed new in 1999 by previous owner.

Rack & Pinion steering w/Destroyer wheel and Morse single lever control.

2 almost new Optima Blue Top batteries.

All Gaffrig gauges also new in 1999.

All cushions were recovered 2 years ago and are like new.

Portapotti included.

Complete Royal Blue Sunbrella cockpit enclosure, almost new, seldom used. Plastic windows are very clear and absolutely no mildew.

Royal Blue Sunbrella Bimini top with cover.

All original windows encased in powdercoated original aluminum frames.

Previous owner eliminated all below-water-line thru-hulls, only has the transom drain, one forward drain and 2 bilge pump drains on the upper right side, no transom holes.

1 year old Continental aluminum tandem-axle trailer with waterproof lights, bearing buddies, and easy-load system. I load and unload the boat by myself all the time in less than 5 minutes.

Includes the following equipment:

Loads of engine spare parts
Life vests
Fire extinguisher
Cabin fan and hatch screens
Furuno GPS w/external antenna
Raymarine Fishfinder
Brand new AM/FM/CD receiver w/antenna & 2 waterproof speakers and Standard Horizon VHF w/6' antenna in concealable box
S/S outrigger side bases
15' telescoping black/gold outriggers
Full S/S bow rail
Anchor with 100' rode
Cargo nets in cabin
2 automatic bilge pumps
HD engine room blower
Flag stanchion
Original metal 35 gal fuel tank with fuel/water separator in excellent condition very accessible thru easily removable fuel hatch.
4 rod holders
New Ritchie Voyager 4" white deck mounted compass

Here are some pictures:

Paid $10,000 last April and am asking $9500 for her, the trailer alone cost over $3700. Everything works and she's turn-key right now or ready for some improvements if that's what you want to do.
