twin 140 zukes on a 23cc?

Has anyone done this recently? What kind of performance numbers do you get. I was originally thinking 250 or 300 yamaha or suzuki but I am kinda drawn to the 2 engine reliability for offshore. my big concern is fuel burn. being a charter/commercial guy I need to really minimize my fuel costs since I am putting all this money into restoring Billybobs old '73.
