Default Fuel Cell

Greetings.
I am very close to going down the path of classic seacraft ownership and if I move forward with a purchase I will need to address a few safety issues immediately. While the overall condition of the hull is good we would like to use the boat this season before I address greater restoration projects.
The boat is a 1977 23 cc and is in need of new fuel cells (2).
I am located on Boston north shore and would greatly appreciate any advice on where quality fuel cells that will fit can be procured.
Also, is there a consensus if aluminum or poly are the better long term choice?
Many thanks!
