Default adding a deck light

I do alot of night fishing on my 20 SF but with no t-top or doghouse i don't have a good location to mount/install a deck light so i can see what i'm doing when rigging baits (eels or macks for stipers). I usually have to rely on one of those head lamps which makes me rely on batteries and the direction of the beam. Has anyone come up with a idea for this who does not have a t-top or doghouse? Thanks.

Check this out:

My wife is a flight attendant and started using them working long night flights and they seem to be really good. Cheap and somewhat water resistant plus the light is at just the right angle for working in front of you - pretty slick design with an easy on/off button. I use hers when I can sneak it out of her bag.

I do a lot of the same type of fishing so 'red' LED's are a must. As you probably know adding them under the gunnel helps a lot in addition to the headlight. I wouldn't turn on overhead lights under normal fishing situations. I also shut down or dim electronics.

If I remember correctly I have 1 10" light on each side.

I'd love to do that but the 20 SF does not have open gunnels back aft. Just up forward and I fish back aft usually

I have a 20 SF also. I was thinking about mounting a battery powered LED strip light under the seat of my leaning post which would flood the rear of the boat.
