Default fuel tank-glass or aluminum

there seems to be a debate as to adv/disadvantage to aluminum vs fiberglass fuel tanks. SC18 takes a 30-or 45 gal tank..opinions about which is preferred. currently I have a 30 (usable) gal tank and it has served its day.. Also where can I locate replacement tank either al or glass for this boat. Its a 78. Thanks js
also I just found a Tempo glass tank 36 gal (16"W x 8-1/4"H x 68-3/4"L)
price 209. will that fit my 18 and is that a good deal. still thanks JS
