Default Bilge drain plug

I want to replace the expandable rubber plug type drain stopper currently used for the bilge drain on the 20 SF that I just bought. I seem to remember a thread several months ago discussing a top quality SS fitting that had a threaded plug on a "keeper" type device, but I can't find anything like that using the search function. Anyone remember that thread, or know what I'm talking about?

It was on my 23'. I could not reach the standard bilge plug since my boat is kept on a lift. The bracket install made access just about impossible. A stainless threaded drain was installed through the keel straight downn. This assembly works just great

That's a pretty neat idea and solution, but the unit I was thinking about was in the standard location at the bottom of the transom and was accessible from the outside when the hull was out of the water.

Roger, JW-Tex,

No, I think this is what I remembered seeing.

I found this on the Mako site earlier today. Not sure how good it is; doesn't look like it has a lot of thread on it, and there were no follow-up threads on the Mako site.
