read your previous post on performance with the 16x20, what gave you the increase in speed over your earlier post? Does your boat have bottom paint?

not sure butI was happy .the first post was first time trying prop maybe trim water conditions,have abatve bottom paint. next year going to sand bottom to get it smother.

You've got a sweet setup!! I rode in Strick's boat a few weeks ago and the boat hit 38+knots (bumping the rev limiter) with 3 guys, full fuel, big top. 16 x 18.5 pitch prop. I'm sure the motor could swing the 21 and still be happy.

Thanks Bigshrimpn boat is far from prestine but I love it .Big year this year New 30 transom new wireing new motor did all myself very gratifying looking foward too some good fishing this weekend
