Default My Classic

Like always it started off simple enough..the canvas finally rotted out so i figured i could build a hardtop. I made one out of wood to get through the summer.

then i started thinking i always hated the canvas and eisen glass, it leaked, couldn't see through it, and for some reason boat makers always put the windshield where you can't see through it your always looking right at the top frame. so off it came

New idea lets enclose the whole bridge. made forms out of wood to get the curves and contours correct

cut out divinicell panels to go over forms and broke out the vacuum bagger

then did the same for the top

in between all that fun the cabin interior also hit the dumpster

I got the enclosure on and the interior completly gutted before i moved to calif. Now i just have to get the boat out here so the games can continue.

Nice project! Can't wait to see the finished product. Is the boat in NJ or CA?
Keep the pics coming.
