Default Adding teak gunnels

I was playing with an idea. Just an idea. Anyone have experience w/ epoxying teak planks onto the gunnels and around the stern of a Tsunami ( or any boat for that matter ).

I have always liked the look and feel of teak and don't mind the maintenance ( actually the maintenance is really low if you don't oil it )

It's not a project I would do right away, but I have thought about it lately.

The idea is to cut thin planks of teak to fit the gunnel tops and the stern top. Then fasten w/ epoxy and finish w/ teak Life Caulk etc., between the teak planks.

The end product would have to look factory /professionally installed - of course ...
