Default steering wheel angle

I have a couple general questions. Do you guys agree on an optimum angle for the steering wheel (measured from vertical) or is tilt steering a must have?

I also wanted to revisit live wells. Is there any agreed upon best location for the live well (probably not). Transom seems like it could be a problem due to weight for 20 SF owners. For those of you that have put it in the front of the console, does it splash too much? In the floor could be a problem for draining since it is below the water line. I guess that leaves under/in the leaning post which I suppose would require a leaning post that costs more than my boat (unless you build it yourself).

Thanks!!
