Default Installing top cap

I am getting close to installing the top cap on a 23 Sceptre. My concern is the technique to install the top cap and cabosil between the livewell and transom. Anyone have experience with this. There was/needs to be a considerable amount of filler between the livewell and transom and under the livewell to the hull. The outboard motor bolts threw the livewell and transom and this area needs to be very solid. I am curious if anyone has any suggestions.

Divinicell, available in many thickness. It will absorb epoxy, you may coat it with glass and epoxy & cabosil.

You could make up a resin, cabosil, and talc puty to fill the gaps. The talc keeps the thick putty from cracking during cure.

Thanks, I will check out the talc, I have not used it yet but it sounds reasonable. The mixture I removed was hard, I mean very hard and ugly to work with. It came off with a hammer rather nicely in areas you could get at. Other areas required a chisel.
