Default wanted 23cc

i've always wanted a seacraft and just sold my boat and i'm looking for a 23cc could use any advice out there i've only have about 17,000 to work with and i've found two boats a 84 and a 85 are they ok what should i look for and avoid

thanks i got lucky just stumbled on this site and it seems great
i'm in Rhode Island and willing to look about 6 hours from here unless there is a great deal further away then maybe more

the 1985 has a bracket and ob the 84 is transome mounted any reason to go with one or the other? are there any changes in ride that i should know?

yes a am seriously looking for another boat almost definatly a seacraft just need to find one that needs no or just cosmetic work i've lost too much time in the past working on boats and not enjoying them i need one with a good trailer, sound hull and motor electronics don't matter planning to put new gear on

If you look in the for sale section my buddy is selling his it is 1978 23 cc twin 175 2001 johnsons loaded with electronics auto pilot very nice clean boat i think he has it priced at 16k!
