Default Classic 21 restoration-Black Jack-

Here are some pics, i will be posting the entire album shortly, I expect the project to be complete in 2-3 weeks.
The stringers, deck, tanks, hatches are all installed. I have to finish the center console and paint the interior, rig the outboard, out board is hung. There is a pic of a plug cut out of transom where rigging will pass into the bucket on the OB bracket.

Brian, all I see are pictures of the tear down...am I missing the build up part or did those not get posted?

Otherwise that "tub" should be ready for DeSoto Fest.

Keep us informed.

Our little girl Emma, loves to climb around in the boat and "help"! She really likes to get involved with the epoxy and "help" when I am laminating.

Are you going to make DeSoto? Maybe you could sell tickets for rides to help defray the resto cost. I`ll bite. You`re making good time and the result is a pure classic ,just better.

Yes, I believe I will! Thank you, I made it a point to overbuild the S_ _ T out of it! However because of the epoxy and eglas, & composite coring, it will be much lighter and stronger than the original, only because of the advances in technology and materials. The original was a real rough water beast! I am betting I am 1200 lbs lighter. The old I/O was 1400 lbs, & who knows what the old glass and wood weighed. The outboard and bracket is right at 500lbs.
