Good looking boat....How do you like that E-Tec 150 on the 20? What kind of speeds are you getting?

Thanks. Got the E-TEC in summer 07. It is awesome!
Very quiet and ,for a two stroke, very efficient. It pushes my boat at 44kts @ 5600rpm off the GPS when its light loaded. I think my T-Top generates a lot of drag and I could probably get a couple more kts without it. Also, have about two coats of bottom paint which is coming off this month. Regardless, the E-TEC gets it out of the water but it can get a little squirrely.

LOL about the Etec getting the boat "squirrly". I hit about 38 knots on my Master Angler and thats without a T-top with my 150 ETEC, but then again I'm not revving as high as you. I Max out a 5K RPMS. The ETEC dealer said thats fine, but this season I'm going to tweak the prop to get more RPMS.

Grady
I had about the same results with the stock prop my dealer sold me. Went to my local prop shop and he swapped me a SS 15X17 which made a big difference. Don't usually rage around that fast but you gotta know what it can do.

How do you like those spray rails?

Also, I'm impressed with your top end. What prop are you spinning? With my 20 and a 21p Mirage, the fastest I've seen is 47.5 kts. Thats running a 175 Opti Pro XS on a bracket, no T Top, at 5600 rpm. Manual says I can spin up to 6000, but I have yet to see that.

Pretty boat.
