The flybridge 27' is great. It is 9'6" beam, however, (114", and so requires an oversize load permit. Here is the application form. Blanket oversizr load permit
The year-long multi-use permit for oversize not to exceed 12' wide and 13'6" height is $20. Single trip permits are $5.
The year-long multi-use permit for oversize not to exceed 14' wide and 14'6" height is $150. Single trip permits are $15.

So yeah, it's trailerable.

FD I would go with you but i will not be home till friday.
I also saw that on craigslist. looks like an awesome boat. because of the width it is trailerable, but you would certainly need a substantial towing vehicle!
could be a very serious fishing boat!

I have a 27, I trailer it all the time. I tow it with a 3/4 Ton Diesel Suburban with no trouble. My Flybridge is long gone, but I do have a diesel, so the weight is about the same. I love the 27 Hull, I was not crazy over the rear layout of the 27 in regards to Freeboard (Because of the I/O). With twin outboards, you may be able to lower the rear floor, the front cabin was pretty good.

Good Luck,

Dan

Thanks all for your input..
Matt-cancelled due to rain..but recd call from owner this am..said he did a sea trial for another interested party and had some engine trouble..and other issues not previously known..been calling around for wet slips..$9.00 month per foot cheapest I could find. Might have to hold off for now but would be a great boat for someone else with the cash to fix it up and a safe means for transport. Ben your right my Sorento wont work.

I know how you feel, not that my wife would have let me have it, but I missed a 20' SeaCraft just 10 miles away by a day or two.....cheap.
