The floor of my fishbox is a little soft/crackly. It has a number of circular stress cracks in the gelcoat. Has anyone had to tackle this project? I am hoping to see some pictures of what it looks like under the liner. If people could share some pics/ideas on how they went about repairing it, i would appreciate it. It is not in awful shape, i just feel like it could use a little strength. Thanks!

Can you build an insert liner for what is there?

I had to repair holes in my fishbox but I had the luxury of having removed it from the inner liner first. I added new layers of glass from the exterior to patch the holes then faired out the interior. Should have some pics up soon.

Is there foam underneath that point of the liner to help insulate the fishbox? Or is it just open air in between the hull? Thanks

The exterior has a very thin coating of foam on it but the space is open air for the most part. Not enough foam to provide a backing.
