Default seacraft seamaster 27/sevilla- Help

I have an opportunity to purchase a 27 seamaster flybridge or another 27 which is a sevilla. I posted a question on another internet site regarding the ride and handling chareteristics of these boats. The first two replies were- unless using these in the bay, stay away from them, and they are known to capsize!.I am not new to boating have owned a seacraft 23 inboard savage, loved it ,bertram 25, bertram 26.cary/blackfin 32 and albemarle, regulator 26 and so on. I looked over both these boats and I can see that the flybridge (1969) is built much better than the 1970's seavilla. I have seen a local 27 master angler in my local waters and have not been able to contact him for his take on these hulls. Are these 27's the "red headed step child" of the seacraft lineup?
