Default Fuel Tank Size

Fairly certian I have a 70 ga tank in my '81 20 SF. I'd measure it myself but I'm 600 miles away. I'm interested in installing a new sending unit and need the tank depth measurement. Anyone been in their tank lately? Thanks in advance.

Default 1979 20 MA non-original fuel tank

My 79 Master Angler's 70 gallon is in the bed of my truck...need a pic? J/K

93" L X 23" W X (almost) 8" H

More like 7 and 3/4 deep, so if I had to guess you will need a 7.5" sending unit.
